[VTC] Vertcoin is an ASIC resistant alternative to Bitcoin. (Decentralize Mining)
The title says it all....but how can my core wallet vertcoin balance be different than the blockchain?
The last deposit timestamp (miner) is the same on the blockchain and wallet but the balances are different by about 1.25 coins.
The blockchain explorer and wallet probably add to the balance at a different amount of transaction confirmations. Is it less in the Core wallet, showing in the Immature balance?
I do have some recent (past 30 minutes) of immature transactions that come to about .112 coins.
But the wallet is now about .5 HIGHER than the blockchain explorer it was 1.25 before these recent miner transactions.
I will keep an eye on the transactions confirmations for both. I'm fairly new at this stuff and trying to learn.
Thanks for the help.
Your core wallet comprises of more than one address, you'd have to look at all of these then add the total value.
I checked that also. I have 2 addresses the other is 0 on the blockchain. Thanks for the feedback.
Could be in a change address if you've made a spend from one of your addresses.
hmmm interesting.. I did move some from core to an exchange. I just checked the transaction ID and its coming up as like it doesn't exist but the coins did get moved. How can I find the change address if one exists somewhere?
If you go to Help > Debug window > Console tab and then enter:
It should list all of your addresses including change address if I recall correctly.
WOW!! That is it. I have an address there that I knew nothing about and it has the difference in it. Thanks!!
