The only difference between Krav Maga and traditional cage MMA is that MMA has rules. Add rules to Krav Maga, and it becomes exactly like MMA. For the past few days, I've been debunking people who have been disagreeing with my points in this thread And I would like to address some of the responses with this post:
Krav Maga is NOT a specific fighting system. Krav Maga incorporates a mix of martial arts (boxing, aikido, wrestling, kickboxing, judo, jiu jitsu, etc..) just like MMA. One of the most common misconceptions people seemed to have in my previous post is that Krav Maga and MMA are very different. This is false. A properly trained kravist, will fight exactly like any other MMA fighter in a ring.
Krav Maga = MMA. It's just that Krav Maga is like street MMA. But there is much more to Krav Maga than just dirty fighting.
