Big fan of the seldomly run "R&D car" that has a number that's an inverse of the main car.

No, this was the DieHard 500. He DNQ'ed. He ran the # 46 at the Winston 500.

Ward Burton, 2001 Charlotte. This was TBR's first Xfinity race.

Were you suppose to poke Ward in the belly?

...Now I'm imagining the Pillsbury dough boy with Ward Burton's accent. Oh god.

Oh hey, I have a diecast of this car.

Harvick also had a Powerade scheme with the same base.

Joey could run this as a throwback at Darlington

Ryan Hemphill, Texas, 2005

One of my favorite young drivers back in the day. Hemphill was a development driver for Ganassi. He had great success in ARCA, winning 6 of 11 races in 2004. For the 2005 season, he drove the #4 for Biagi Brothers Racing (current #98 team) and struggled heavily. After a best finish of 12th at Nashville, and a few DNQ's, he was replaced the rest of the season by Jeff Green and Kevin Hamlin.

Thanks! Fixed it.

Tim Steele at the Brickyard, 1994

This was a car on loan from Junior Johnson. Steele had wrecked his primary in a practice session.

level 2

Shame he got injured would of been interesting to see how the Bud Moore/Farve team would of done with Steele driving

level 3

I think he would have been Loy Allen part 2: All sizzle, no steak. And I think the Favre/Moore thing was nothing more than another '90s tall tale.
