I’m maybe a little too pissed that Drai wasn’t a star last night, but come on!
Surprised how much I've loved having Sam Gagner back. He just belongs as an Oiler. Was really hoping he and Koskinen would win the S/O, but unfortunately, Ty Rattie sucks.
I don't think you can blame anyone in a shootout. It's like 50/50 at that point.
I mean Drai had a hell of a game but missed in the shootout. Nuge too.
And Koskinen didnt make a single save
An yet they didn't score on two of their shots and we missed the net on two of ours. Stop blaming the goalie on that. Thats the same as saying Rinne only made one save on four shots
Mother fuckers forgot about Drai
A win would have obviously been great but taking a point from a contender in their barn without 97 is huge. They're finally looking looking the team that was playing their balls off for the 'Cock when he first took over. Amazing what we can do with relatively healthy PMD

Yeah you know me!
You down wit PMD
Any word on Klefbom's finger?
I'm not even gonna ask if anybody is gonna look at that slash.
yes he's fine
The boys played very well last night. They took a couple too many penalties, but overall very good against one of the top teams in the west. It might even give them an outside chance of making the playoffs if they keep it up. We'll see if they can get on a run here on the road.
The last 12 minutes (when I took a study break) they really seemed to be scrambling. But they managed to tie it up and hold on!
They seemed to be quite good defensively, aside from the couple minutes where they got scored twice on.
Nashville is an exceptional team. I didn’t take it personally.
I really hope the next GM won't fuck it up. Drai and McDavid need wingers beside Nuge. Gagner can slot in as 3C. Our D prospects going to make the jump soon. Chia really had to put us in cap hell though. So we can't do anything without shedding salary first. I'm slightly optimistic Nicholson going to get it right.
I prefer Gags on the right side in the top six. Hes a speedy player with skill, exactly what you want in the top 6. I just don't think hes responsible enough defensively to center that third line.
Imagine the lineup if we still had Strome, not sure what we would have traded to get Gags in that scenario but I'm sure we could have done something.
Gagner isnt speedy and hes only 29... hes cagey tho!
Lucic is going to be easier to move in the summer. That will be the big one.
Easier but still very difficult; we would definitely need to sweeten the pot, and teams know we are cap crunched so we don't have much leverage.
Don't get your hopes up
His contract bonuses kick in then (someone was saying here) and if I understand correctly, his cap hit is 4 million next year. Buyouts will be easier, and certainly cap hits for other teams trying to hit the ceiling.
I don’t think it will be insurmountable. We just need our next GM to pop out his or her balls/ovaries.
